While GearLabs UK is a commercial enterprise, you don’t have to pay a penny to use our website. To keep the site free for our users, we implement advertising. You’ll see traditional display advertising, which we’re paid to display, as well as pay-per-click advertising.

We also add affiliate marketing links to our articles. These links allow our users to quickly find a product that they are interested in, and if a purchase is then made, we receive a small commission. This allows our readers to support us at no cost to themselves.

Promoted

These are articles written in the GearLabs UK style, but with product messaging from a clearly marked sponsor. It’s paid-for advertising content, but it will also aim to entertain and inform you about a topic that is interesting to you.

Sponsored

These are articles that have been made possible by a commercial sponsor, but that are written by or commissioned by GearLab’s editorial team and where the commercial sponsor has no control over or sign-off on the final article. There might be boxouts linking to products made by the sponsor, but they will be clearly marked.
